Chapter Meetings – come to eat, network,
learn, enjoy!
Chapter Meetings offer a
forum for credit union people to network, learn, and enjoy entertaining
speakers. The meetings are open to all credit union staff, volunteers
and their spouses.
These meetings, organized by your chapter officers, are usually
held once a month from September through May or June. The meetings are
usually held in the evenings at a local restaurant around dinner time,
and include a cocktail hour followed by a meal. You needn't attend
all the meetings; log in to our Online Directory to view your chapter
program for dates and speakers of interest.
Meetings are a great way to learn more about credit unions, meet
peers who do the same kind of work, and sometimes, to get involved in
grassroots advocacy efforts that can help credit unions and their
members. If you’d like to attend, ask your supervisor. Your
supervisor can also ensure you get counted in the head-count for dinner
and make arrangements with your credit union to cover the cost of your
meal.
