Heartland Credit Union is searching for an experienced, full-time HR Payroll Specialist to work in our Madison, WI office. This person will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, administering and maintaining employee data, 401K and benefit administration, general ledger processing, working with Census data and assisting the HR department with other administrative tasks. A qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with payroll processing, preferably with Paychex or ADP, knowledge of unemployment, state and federal taxes, FLSA and FMLA. This person must possess the discretion needed to work with confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is a must. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package is required.
