National Institute of Financial and Economic Literacy
July 30-August 3, 2012
Edgewood College
Madison
Topic: Credit
and Money
The National Institute of Financial & Economic
Literacy is a fantastic opportunity for teachers - as well as credit
union staff who are financial educators - to learn how to improve their
lessons on the basics of personal finance. Sponsor someone from your
credit union or local school!
Each workshop, conveniently located at
Edgewood College in Madison, is a bargain at only $225 for each full
week.
These workshops, which have primarily
attracted teachers from Wisconsin schools, aim to give attendees a
better understanding of personal finance issues so they can present the
issues more thoroughly to others.
Wisconsin credit unions have sponsored
teachers each year, while The League has provided financial support for
the sessions since their inception in 2001.
The June session has been canceled due to low
enrollment. However, attendees already registered for that session are
being given the option to attend the July or August sessions.
To sponsor someone, please follow these steps.
