About the Program This webinar will examine the common themes surrounding the
causes of credit union failures based on material loss reviews,
including concentrations, corporate governance, fraud, and others. It
will provide an overview of laws and regulations related to material
loss reviews along with historical analysis and end results. A case
study will be presented covering an actual material loss review report
for a failed credit union and the reasons for failure. In addition, the
roles and responsibilities of the Supervisory Committee under the
applicable NCUA rules and regulations will be covered.
