Accountant - Nicolet Credit Union
Position Summary:
The accountant performs tasks necessary to balance and update general
ledger and subsidiary accounts, maintain and reconcile daily cash
accounts, and manage other accounting related duties. In addition, the
accountant prepares various accounting reports as needed.
Primary Accounting responsibilities and/or
Duties:
1. Balance data received from tellers; total checks and prepare
deposit slips for daily bank deposits. Film daily deposits.
2. Assist members with account balancing and other claims of
incorrect posting to their account.
3. Approve the closure of share draft accounts for abuse.
4. Contact members when deposit items are returned unpaid against
their account.
5. The Accountant performs tasks necessary to balance and update
general ledger and subsidiary accounts, maintain and reconcile daily
cash accounts, and manage other accounting related duties.
6. Prepares various accounting reports as needed.
7. Prepare Credit Union's tax returns. Prepare, pay, file and
troubleshoot all accounts payable for Credit Union.
8. Review and analyze financial data in order to prepare reports
detailing results of research conducted.
9. Post and reconcile the subsidiary records for the accrued income
from investment accounts.
10. Post investment interest checks.
11. Post all wire transactions to member accounts.
12. Remit abandoned property accounts to the state.
13. Serve as primary contact for Credit Union in fraud and forgery
cases.

15. Balance daily to ledger Travelers Check sales, keep travelers
checks supplied and maintain inventory.
16. Balance daily product sales and maintain inventories of all
items.
17. Maintain knowledge of all state and federal regulations
(CIP,OFAC,FIN CEN,BSA etc.).
18. Participate in community and business affairs, as necessary, to
contribute to the image of Credit Union.
19. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or
management.
Position Qualifications:
1. Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles.
2. Knowledge of the Credit Union movement and Credit Union policies
and procedures preferred.
3. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
4. At least three years of experience in an accounting position
required.
5. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
6. Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and
concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).

Sales Manager - Heartland Credit Union
Duties:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the continued development
and organization of the sales program currently implemented at the
credit union. The Sales Manager's main office will be at our east side
branch, but travel will be required on a frequent basis to all our rural
branches to meet with staff to assist in goal attainment. He or she will
also conduct the tracking and reporting of the incentive program and
follow-up with our whiteboard program. Using the tools within our
processing system to target relationships will be key to meeting and
exceeding goals. The Sales Manager will also work with the Marketing
