Advocacy for tax status continues, Rep. Sensenbrenner voices support

Help more WI school districts require financial education: offer brass
The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions has reported that 44% of Wisconsin school districts require a course in personal financial literacy. You can help expand the list of districts that are able to do this by providing schools the teaching resources they need to make this happen. Be sure you've offered them the brass|STUDENT PROGRAM, featuring brass|MAGAZINE and its online support materials. With more than 350 teachers using brass and new sponsorship packages to help Wisconsin credit unions personalize their support for brass, the time is right to engage local students. Foundation offers grants & a scholarship
The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation is offering Development Grants that credit unions can use to offset technology and operational expenses, and a Young Professional Scholarship of up to $2,000 to apply toward a national conference in 2014. Read the Development & YP funding guidelines. Applications for both the Development & YP funds are due Oct. 31.
