WBA pushing for new taxes on CU member-owners
The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) is on the attack again. After spending the last few months pushing for a direct credit union-to-bank conversion bill that was eventually passed at the state level, they have now turned their focus to the federal level trying to do away with credit unions' federal income tax exemption. The League has written its own letter to Congress, as well as issued a press release and its monthly newsletter to lawmakers, to correct the misinformation from WBA and expose bankers' hypocrisy related to taxation. |
NCUA Corporate Assessment Prepayment Plan won't launch
