All Activists are urged to contact Governor Scott Walker to ask him to veto the major policy item inserted into the budget bill by the Joint Finance Committee which would allow for the direct charter conversion of a not-for-profit credit union to a for-profit commercial bank. FULL STORY

Interchange efforts shift focus from U.S. Senate to Federal Reserve
Fifty-four U.S. Senators – including Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson – voted in favor of the Tester-Corker bill that would have enabled Congress to "stop, study and start over" with a more consumer-friendly version of interchange legislation.
