HR Roundtable offers practical insights
The morning will cover a wide swath of changes
to employment law, including:
The afternoon will be attendees' time to discuss specific concerns and situations. Participants are encouraged to submit topics of interest when registering so that we can address your concerns. Do you have question about any of the following, or some other area of concern?
"The HR Roundtable is one of the best places to hear about changes to the law but also learn and share real world experiences implementing today's requirements,'" said presenter Joanne Whiting, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer for The League and H.R. consultant to credit unions. "It's helpful to hear from peers not only what they've experienced, but the outcome of situations and the effect that had on the credit union, its staff and members. HR pros come with a wealth of insights you won't want to miss."
Having practiced management-side employment law in private practice as an attorney and worked with employers for more than 20 years, Jo has extensive knowledge about how H.R. issues affect credit unions. Her presentations are geared to help workplaces stay abreast of legal requirements, create supportive and productive environments for staff and prevent situations from becoming costly liabilities.
