Find blueprints for CU growth at Innovators Roundtable

Managers, marketers and business development pros seeking bottom line gains will want to attend The League's Innovators In Outreach Roundtable in Appleton Sept. 18. Nationally acclaimed credit union leaders, including former CUNA Chair Harriet May and Mark Lynch of the National Credit Union Foundation, offer best practices to help your credit union leverage untapped markets for success. Plus, the deadline to receive the earlybird registration rate of just $99 (and the discounted sleeping room rate) has been extended to Sept. 4!

Panels on financial education, social media and member engagement will offer "how-tos" on the most popular strategies for growing membership, member loyalty and income.

  • Harriet May, former Chair of the Credit Union National Association and Texas League hall of famer. May, who presented at The League's May Convention, is widely acclaimed for leadership in outreach to underserved communities. She'll challenge your thinking, explain why outreach to the financially underserved and unbanked presents some of the biggest growth potential for our movement, and explain how some of the most sophisticated and successful credit unions found their strength by extending themselves in ways other financial institutions typically don't to offer services.

  • Mark Lynch, a field coach for the National Credit Union Foundation, credit union director for 22 years and in-demand consultant on outreach topics. Prior to moving to the U.S. from Australia he was the Deputy

Chairman of one of Australia’s largest credit unions. Lynch has delivered more than 200 presentations at conferences in 48 states on issues relating to credit union philosophy, serving the underserved, taxation and board governance. His knowledge in board governance, strategic planning, housing counseling, program and product development and project management have helped credit unions develop strategic and management plans. A U.S. and Australian Credit Union Development Educator, Lynch works closely with the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions and eight state leagues to help credit unions implement strategic outreach to low-wealth households. Lynch's two decades of experience as a CU director, consultant and trainer have helped him formulate strategies for outreach and credit union growth that he'll share with attendees.

Because it's a Roundtable format, you'll have additional time to network and have questions answered with peers and panelists.

You can't afford to miss this rare dialog with two of the most accomplished icons in credit union service outreach, as well as the opportunity to add valuable contacts whose know-how can make you more effective in your role.
