What technical or operational costs inhibit you from serving members?

Greater Galilee Baptist Credit Union used a $3,795 Development Grant it received from the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation in 2013 to purchase two new computers, monitors, a printer, software and software-related license renewals. The Development Grant, open to all credit unions with a preference to credit unions under $50 million in assets, can offset technology and operations-related expenses that help your credit union better serve its members. Read the guidelines and apply by June 30!

The current financial position of your credit union will be considered for the grant. But if yours is chosen as a recipient, you can apply the funds toward expenses for:

  • Technology
  • Security upgrades & improvements
  • Marketing
  • Asset/liability management
  • Strategic planning
  • Customized training opportunities
  • Consulting services
  • Operations

There's also an opportunity by June 30 to apply for a REAL Solutions grant, which have been successfully put to use by credit unions like Blackhawk Community Credit Union and Park City Credit Union to improve or expand member services that fulfill the mission of Wisconsin credit unions' statewide REAL Solutions initiative.
