Foundation sends two CU pros to CUNA
Management School
Two dedicated CU pros are attending CUNA Management School this
summer thanks to a shared scholarship from the Wisconsin Credit
Union Foundation.
Dawn Johnson, VP of Operations/Compliance for
Riverwood-Maritime CU and Nicole Christensen, Compliance
Officer/Accounting Coordinator for Racine Municipal Employees Credit
Union each received $1,000 toward the tuition.
"The award was split evenly this year because
we felt we had two exceptional candidates, both of whom demonstrated a
financial need," said Foundation Liaison Mary Bliss.
CUNA Management School is an intensive program
that convenes for two weeks each July over three consecutive summers. It
offers credit union employees looking to invest in their careers a
rigorous blend of university classes and experiential learning
activities. It is the credit union movement's longest-running high-level
executive education program.
The Foundation accepts applications for
the scholarship each May.
