Convention Conduit Luncheon offers preview of election year
Marquette University Law School Professor Charles Franklin, a leading
national expert in public opinion analysis, will share with League
convention-goers an exclusive preview of the November elections and
public opinion polling.
The annual Members' Conduit Account luncehon, which features
Franklin's keynote address, is the only sit-down lunch on Friday, May 9
and runs from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m.
An expert on statistical methods, political polling, elections and
public opinion, Franklin has served as a member of the ABC News
election-night analysis team and co-director of the Big Ten Poll, which
conducted 18 state and national polls in 2008. Franklin is also a past
board member of the American National Election Study, the leading
academic survey of elections.
