For A Reason website and League video efforts
The "For A Reason" website highlights stories that illustrate
how Wisconsin credit unions' REAL Solutions
help members, communities and future generations. The content,
which is organized by chapter, consists of video testimonials from
CU staff, volunteers and members, as well as news stories
and images detailing credit union outreach.
The site offers a way for credit unions to show how they're
addressing many of the difficult issues facing members
and our communities during these tough financial times - the
risk of foreclosure, debt traps caused by payday loans, the
unavailability of credit for small businesses and the lack of
financial savvy that has imperiled so many families living paycheck to
paycheck.

In order to continue building the site and showcasing
stories, The League has a number of Flip camcorders available for credit
unions to use. Contact Chad Helminak for
availability and details. In addition, The League will continue to
collect video by coordinating visits and setting up cameras at
events. Credit unions are welcome to submit their own content to the
site as well.
