League Services

 

The Wisconsin Credit Union League is the trade association for more than 250 member-owned credit unions in the state and promotes the health and well being of the credit union movement at the national, state and local level. The League provides services to its credit unions in the following areas:

 

  • Communications.

The Communications Department works to raise consumer awareness about credit unions and build essential relationships with the media and the general public. The Communications Department is also keeping credit unions informed of events within the credit union movement.

  • Compliance.

The League is credit unions' main resource for questions regarding regulatory compliance. Answering thousands of calls from credit union staffers every year, The League's Legal Affairs team helps credit unions avoid compliance deficiencies tat potentially expose them to risk. The League also clarifies compliance issues affecting credit unions' service to members.

  • Education and training.

With more than 70 workshops, seminars and other learning options, The League's Education Department is constantly exploring new methods to deliver convenient, cost-effective training to help credit union staff, directors and management fulfill their roles, In addition, the Education Department is expanding topics and teaching styles to offer credit unions new ways to improve daily operations and member service.   • Government affairs.

The Wisconsin Credit Union League represents the interests of Wisconsin credit unions before national and state legislative and regulatory bodies. During each legislative session, the Government Affairs Department follows current and proposed legislation dealing with issues that impact credit unions and their members. The Government Affairs Department at The League analyzes the legislation and lobbies members of the appropriate governmental bodies on behalf of credit unions statewide.

  • League Marketing Agency.

You name it, the award-winning League Marketing Agency can do it.  From developing a strategic marketing direction to implementing full-fledged campaigns, the League Marketing Agency has completed thousands of projects for credit unions of all sizes and situations.  LMA is the first place credit unions turn for their marketing needs.

  • League Services Corp.

The League Services Corp. has a wide variety of product and service offerings designed to save its member credit unions time and money. Solutions offered by the League Services Corp. and its affiliates include card and HR services, insurance, lending and operational solutions, security, as well as equipment, technology and supplies.
