Credit unions embracing board meeting technology

Fit 30 minutes of critical training topics into your board meeting with CUNA’s Training on Demand

Plus, many meetings are ending with to do lists and on those lists are critical training topics including compliance and liability concerns.

Credit unions across the country are using CUNA’s online courses, Training on Demand, to address this very issue. With topics from BSA to Credit Union Growth Strategies, these courses are helping boards fit a 30-minute expert presentation into a board meeting. Some boards even find this technology works best when viewed individually before the board meeting, with a 15-minute discussion then conducted during the meeting to discuss action steps based on the knowledge and tips gained.

Affordability and ease are the two primary drivers for embracing this technology. With more than 15 board topics at $149 each, these web-based plug and play options are saving credit union resources and training dollars. The variety of topics also speak to the various needs of a credit union throughout the year, so working these into every other board meeting is certainly doable for most credit unions.
