About the Program

Even though this law hasn’t substantively changed since 2003 (although there have been a few minor amendments), SCRA and the entire subject of how you treat your military members and their families is an extremely hot topic these days. All you need to do is go to the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB’s) website and read many articles and blog postings about the new regulator’s efforts in protecting servicemembers. Plus the mainstream press has had stories of banks foreclosing on military members overseas, a definite no-no. What should you know about the SCRA, and what is coming?
