The brass|STUDENT PROGRAM is a free classroom resource
teachers can use to teach students about the money side of life™.
Through the Student Program, teachers receive a package of materials
four times per year, along with use of the online brass|TEACHER RESOURCE
CENTER.
Wisconsin credit unions, through the The Wisconsin Credit Union
Foundation – are providing the brass|STUDENT PROGRAM free to
Wisconsin high school teachers. Currently, more than 400 Wisconsin
teachers are registered to receive brass|STUDENT PROGRAM materials for
their students. All teachers that register online at www.studentprogram.com/user/register
will receive Student Program materials sent to their school.
Through the brass|STUDENT PROGRAM, Wisconsin credit
unions help to deliver financial information to high schools in the
form of brass|MAGAZINE - a young adult lifestyle money magazine designed
to teach high school students about the money side of life™. Read
by hundreds of thousands of young adults across the nation, brass
content is written for young adults by young adults.
In addition to offering classroom sets of brass|MAGAZINE to high
schools, the STUDENT PROGRAM also provides access to an online resource
center to help educators across the nation network and share ideas about
teaching financial concepts. The website, www.studentprogram.com, also
allows has content for students, including free digital editions of
brass|MAGAZINE.

In a recent Student Program survey:
- 94% of teachers indicated that they would be likely or very likely
recommend the Student Program to a colleague.
- 86 % of teachers reported that their students prefer brass to
textbooks, and read it whether it is assigned or not.
