Teller

 

Team Enterprise is currently searching for a Teller to join our team. Our Teller position will provide accurate, prompt, efficient and courteous service to credit union members while processing transactions and answering member inquires via telephone, in-person, and email correspondence. Tellers will also be responsible for completing transactions and documentation for deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers of funds.

 

As a Teller, your main responsibilities may include the following:

 

• Performing member transactions (check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, advances)

• Cash handling and cash drawer balancing

• Selling travelers checks, money orders, US savings bonds, gift cards, and other items

• Processing request for Corporate and Cashier’s checks

• Proving answers to member inquires via telephone, email, mail, and other correspondence

• Processing mail transactions and request

• Cross-telling Enterprise Credit Union’s products and Services

• Providing clerical services as needed (filing, labeling, cleaning, etc)

 • Assisting Member Service Representatives in the account opening process

• Performing other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor or management.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Must have good written and oral communication skills

• Must have excellent customer service skills • Must have excellent cash handling experience

• Previous teller experience preferred

Job Requirements

 

  •  Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

 

  • A CPA/Master’s Degree would be a plus.

Job Summary   

 

This position provides oversight to staff and key third party vendor relationships for Deposit Operations which includes: new business processing, servicing for consumer and commercial depository products, exception and returns item processing, debit card product and its processing networks, and services within the Operations Division of Thrivent Federal Credit Union. •  Core processing conversion experience and up to date on new technologies (mobile, RDC, p2p,etc.)

•  Depository, processing and product regulatory knowledge experience preferred

•  Automated ClearingHouse (ACH), Regulation E knowledge, and AAP certification preferred

•  Knowledge of federal Reserve Bank processes including check clearing, wire processing, and cash management preferred

•  Understanding of deposit payment processing systems

Asset Liability (ALM) Analyst

 

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and resolute individual to join our team. Under the direction of the VP of Finance the Asset Liability Management (ALM) Analyst will provide organizational/product profitability analysis, forecasting/budgeting, and internal financial management reporting. The individual in this position will also be responsible for product and service cost/benefit analysis; interest rate risk measurement; peer group reporting; trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive analytical and transactional analysis and support for the credit union’s Asset Liability Management process.
  • Analyze financial data, interpret results, and prepare analyses to identify areas of opportunity or risk.
  • Analyze and create interest rate risk simulation model and related balance sheet forecasts.
  • Verify accuracy, reasonableness, and consistency.
  • Perform simulations under multiple scenarios, including stress testing.
  • Create, analyze, and review model assumptions; develop and test strategies and update underlying analytics.
  • Recommend strategies to improve interest rate margins.
  • Prepare strategic liquidity scenarios and contingency actions available to the credit union.
  • Assist with budgeting and analysis of department performance to support growth projections and strategic planning.
  • Complete all cycles of the budgeting process.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital; prepare balance sheet, income statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position and performance.
  • Generate reporting and provide analysis of financial results, including peer group reporting, trend analysis, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Assist with month-end closing process, including monthly financial statements.
  • Complete quarterly compliance reporting.
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience providing proactive analytical and transactional analysis and support for the Asset Liability Management process within the financial, credit union or banking industry is a requirement.
  • CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience applying advanced Excel modeling skills, the ability to analyze, interpret and report on financial data and exceptional written and oral communications skills are also required.
