About the Program

New rules under Section 312 of the FACT Act are effective on July 1, 2010. These rules will address a Credit Union’s reporting obligations to CRAs, the scope of information conveyed, “required” policies and procedures to insure the accuracy of credit reporting, required internal training, and procedures for direct consumer complaints with regard to credit reporting issues.This session will present an overview of the requirements of FACTA and the applicable regulations.
