Description

The “#MeToo” movement has caused many employers to question what their obligations are when it comes to preventing and remedying workplace harassment. This webinar will provide a brief overview of harassment prevention and reporting, investigating harassment complaints, and applying appropriate remedial actions.

Speaker

Robert W. Sanders, Attorney with Husch Blackwell, delivers responsive, straightforward and practical advice to clients. His practice includes the representation of all sizes of employers, insurers and third-party administrators in employment matters.

He has experience with a broad range of trial and appellate issues in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Sanders is also well versed with workplace polices and handbooks; employee discipline and discharges; discrimination claims; wage and hour disputes; occupational health and safety regulation; restrictive covenant agreements; grievance arbitrations; unfair labor practice charges; and labor law compliance.

Sanders is a skilled negotiator and a trained mediator, experience that has helped him secure favorable outcomes for his clients. In his spare time, he volunteers as a mediator at the Mediation and Restorative Justice Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Prior to joining the firm, Sanders was a legal intern for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball club and a mediator at the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Restorative Justice Project.
