Established in 2007, The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that promotes the wellness of credit unions and the communities they serve. Foundation resources:
- Promote credit union development
- Help educate credit union staff and volunteers

- Support the credit union system in times of need.
The Foundation's flagship financial literacy program is the Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP). This training program allows credit union staff to become Certified Certified Union Financial Counselors (CCUFC) and further their financial literacy efforts among their members.
The Foundation promotes responsible personal financial management to young adults. Many teachers also look to credit unions for support in operating youth-run branches, savings programs, etc.
Scholarships & Grants
The Foundation provides funding through scholarships
that support Wisconsin credit unions’ REAL Solutions® initiative, as well as the professional development and continued education of credit union staff and volunteers. The Foundation's Professional Development Scholarship
offers opportunities for both Young Professionals and additional applicants, regardless of their age.
