WESTconsin Credit Union, one of western Wisconsin's strongest financial cooperatives has an opportunity for a Vice President Human Resources, to be home-based out of our Menomonie Administrative Center. This individual will be responsible for the management of the human resources functions for our 400-employee credit union, including the major areas of talent management, benefits, negotiation of administration, HR policy and compliance activities, compensation and payroll administration, employee relations, staffing and recruitment. We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with experience in human resource management, who is ready to join a growing organization and be a major contributor in sustaining that growth.


  • Resolves employee relations issues
  • Oversees vendor management of HR providers and systems - recruiting, payroll and employee total rewards systems; including risk management of HR processes
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws, including worker's compensation
  • Develops new position job descriptions as required
  • Recommends and administers human resources policy changes
  • Prepares, submits, and analyzes a variety of activity and operating reports
  • Serves and leads HR team of specialist in recruiting, employee relations, payroll and total rewards

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related filed from a four-year college or university with a minimum of two years of experience managing the human resource function
  • Human resources certification is strongly preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
