Josh Roberts, VP of System Collaboration & Development | The League

Josh is responsible for promoting credit union service and outreach, fostering opportunities for growth and leading The League’s development program for Wisconsin's young credit union professionals, the YP Network. Josh also consults with credit unions statewide on budgets, accounting issues, strategic and board planning and any number of operational issues affecting their outreach and success.

Jason Schulist, President |Generative Local Community Institute (GLCI)

Jason is the President of the Generative Local Community Institute (GLCI), an organization whose mission is to connect communities so that they can improve their problem-solving capability and accelerate community impact. Prior to forming GLCI, Jason served as Appvion’s Vice President of Continuous Improvement(CI). Appvion’s CI Deployment was awarded Runner-up in the PEX Global Award for Most Innovative Culture Change Deployment for 2016 and consistently exceeded Appvion’s Profit Improvement goals. Jason has a passion for the local community and has founded the Skillsfest movement that applies continuous improvement to thorny community problems. He is a co-founder of the Michigan Lean Consortium and past Chair. He currently serves on the Boards of the United Way of the Fox Cities, CAP Services, the MIT Club of Wisconsin, and the POINT Poverty Initiative in northeast Wisconsin. 

Cedric Thurman, Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer | Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago

Cedric is responsible for shaping the company culture to provide opportunities for all employees and help the FHLB to be a change catalyst for its member institutions and the communities they serve. Cedric is the Founder and CEO of Talks Inc., a not for profit organization being developed to provide life skills programming for youth via video-based conversations. Prior to developing Talks Inc., he served as U.S. Head of Inclusion at BMO Harris Bank. In this role, he was responsible for the diversity and inclusion strategy for the U.S. while overseeing BMO’s Enterprise Resource Groups in the U.S. and Canada, as well as compliance related activities. Cedric began his career at BMO Harris, spending nearly 10 years in a variety of roles from International Trade Finance, Community Development Lending and Branch Management and Development. Prior to re-joining BMO Harris, Cedric spent 14 years at JLL in office and retail brokerage capacities, as well as leading HR strategy for the Americas region. He also served as JLL’s first Chief Diversity Officer, where he created and implemented a multi-year, multi-phased strategic plan that defined, assessed, nurtured and cultivated a culture of diversity and inclusion.
