Royal Credit Union is a stable, innovative, and full service credit union providing financial services to eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1964 Royal Credit Union has been serving its members in and around the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area with exceptional financial products. Currently led by Rudy Pereira, the Royal CU has grown its membership to over 150,626 with assets of more than $1,350,504,430.


Summary Responsible for ensuring the accurate internal and external recording and reporting of financial transactions to state and federal regulatory agencies. Ensures that accounting activities are in compliance with established legal, regulatory, and Credit Union procedures. Responsible for the overall operation and supervision of the Accounting Department. Required Skills Must consistently display, demonstrate and support RCU's Core Values. Must consistently demonstrate & exhibit RCU's Core Values and a positive spirit of team member engagement through their words & actions. Proven ability and experience being responsible for the development and implementation of effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures. Proven ability and experience effectively managing Credit Union or Financial Institution Asset Liability, concentrations risks and other risks as assigned. Proven ability and experience being responsible for the effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and analyses. Ability to assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Credit Union personnel and management. Experience guiding others in accomplishing work objectives; rewarding and recognizing others, both formally and informally, in ways that motivate them. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Minimum of ten years experience working in the field of Accounting. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of Financial Institution investment practices and theory. Clear understanding of Financial Institution accounting areas such as GAAP, Asset Liability Management and Branch Accounting.
