FiCEP

Certification Earned: Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC)

In partnership with CUNA and CU Difference, The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation's flagship financial literacy program is the Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP).
 

FiCEP is designed for credit union staff who work in financial counseling, collections, and loan departments, or any other staff members who are committed to helping members gain control of their financial future. The program is significantly subsidized through The Foundation.

FiCEP is offered on an annual basis, and includes 10 training sessions (nine webinars and one in-person session).

League Leadership Institute

Certification Earned: Certified Wisconsin Credit Union Leader (CWCUL)

The League's Leadership Institute is designed to help emerging and mid-level managers build their leadership skills to more effectively prepare for succession planning and promotion. 

This six month program includes 11 interactive, online sessions on a variety of topics and the development of an action plan to extend the experience beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to partner with their supervisor to tailor the plan to fit their professional growth plan.

The program is offered on an annual basis. Students who complete the program also earn 4.2 continuing education credits from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Continuing Education.

League Leadership Institute Part II | New in 2023!

Prerequisite: Must have graduated from Leadership Institute 1 to enroll in this coursework!

The League in partnership with the UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education is pleased to offer a League Leadership Institute Part II for graduates of our popular Leadership Institute. New in 2023. The curriculum is taught by experts in their fields and has been designed to offer expanded learning in the areas of leadership development.

CUNA Management School

Certification Earned: Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE)

CUNA Management School is for credit union leaders who want to keep their credit unions thriving by learning to transform their organizations through leadership and collaboration.

This three-year executive education program features advanced training from University of Wisconsin School of Business professors, credit union professionals, and industry experts who will teach you core executive responsibilities, financial operations, and leadership insights. CPE credits are also available.
