Making progress: various credit unions exceeding individual grassroots goals
With a few dedicated weeks of individual CU advocacy behind us, Wisconsin has made over 15,000 contacts to Congress to say "Don't Tax My Credit Union." Much of that progress is thanks to the 14 credit unions that have already surpassed their individual credit union grassroots goal. You can check the progress of your credit union's efforts every Monday and Thursday when The League updates the online progress report of grassroots contacts. Even with the active involvement of thousdands of Wisconsin credit union supporters, Wisconsin still ranks 19th nationally in total contacts made to Congress. To move Wisconsin into the top five, where our grassroots efforts typically rank, please continue to use the shared resources we've developed, including printed letters members can sign in your lobby. Please report to Sarah Wainscott the number of contacts you've made using signed letters, postcards or on social media or call her at (608) 514-0086 with questions.
