Learn about the WI Jump$tart Coalition and Reality Store on Nov. 17
Learn more about the Wisconsin Jump$tart Coalition and Reality Store, an innovative financial literacy tool, during the coalition’s next meeting on Nov. 17 at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The Reality Store is a hands-on simulation that teaches youth real-world financial management tools. Participants are given jobs, income, a family and debt and are asked to find housing, transportation, food, etc. while balancing a budget. A similar program, available through CUNA, is called Mad City Money and has achieved significant publicity for credit unions. RSVP by Nov. 3 to Teresa Walker at (608) 267-1713.
