New Director named for Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions
Kim Santos (formerly Brilowski) has been named Director of the Wisconsin Office of Credit Unions, as Ginger Larson retires. Please join us in thanking Ginger for her many years of service and wishing her well in retirement. Kim will participate in the breakout session on regulatory issues we have planned for Convention in the Dells, along with NCUA's Region IV Director, Keith Morton. It's a great opportunity for face time with them, so bring your questions on regulatory or exam issues.

Financial Literacy Month Proclamation recognizes credit unions
Wisconsin credit unions have been recognized for their commitment to financial literacy as part of a Governor's Proclamation in April, which is Financial Literacy Month. A League press release touted the proclamation, as well as how Wisconsin consumers have saved more than $1 billion by using credit unions since the recent recession began. Wisconsin credit unions are offering financial learning opportunities in April, including during National Credit Union Youth Week and Money Smart Week, both next week.
