CUNA GAC is key face time to advocate for tax status

CUNA CEO Bill Cheney invites you to advocate for the CU tax status by registering for the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C. in February, just following The League's state GAC in Madison. Credit unions push hard to influence tax reform process
Wisconsin credit unions are out in full force advocating for tax reforms that protect the credit union tax status. Their ongoing efforts, which aim to ensure the continuation of billions of dollars in annual benefits to consumers, are helping ensure Congress hears the consistent and strong call of "Don't Tax My Credit Union!" through the end of the year. Unite for good at the state Government Affairs Conference!
Register now! Wisconsin credit unions will unite for good at the State Government Affairs Conference (GAC), set for February 12 in Madison. By coming together to illustrate the member- and community benefits that flow from a member-owned financial cooperative, credit unions preserve a strong voice for their 2.4 million members among state lawmakers. This year's GAC will also offer insights to defend credit unions' tax status. Scorecard showcases credit unions: help us update it!
You can help enhance our "Don't Tax My Credit Union!" advocacy by adding your credit union's input to the Scorecard—Wisconsin credit unions' signature advocacy piece that showcases credit unions' member- and community benefits. All Wisconsin credit union CEOs have been asked to complete a short survey by Dec. 6 so that the details we share in the Scorecard in 2014 are up to date. Thanks to those who have already responded!
