Convention celebrates how credit unions are fostering Service Excellence—a key action step in the movement's nationwide strategy for growth, Unite for Good. Our event looks at how service excellence is achieved at all levels: by YOU individually, by departments and teams and by the credit union as a whole through its outreach and impact in the community.

This special edition of League News is a glimpse at our jam-packed Convention schedule, and the many opportunities you won’t want to miss. Reserve your hotel room by April 8 for a reduced rate and register today!

Foster service excellence for good in order to grow
Wisconsin credit unions are doing a tremendous amount of good for their 2.4 million members and communities. The values we share as co-ops position us to achieve a common vision: to grow by proving to Americans that credit unions make the best financial partner. At this year's Convention, Gigi Hyland (right), Executive Director for The National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF), and others will share best practices that can help credit unions foster service excellence, making our vision a reality. Packers' Wide Receiver Randall Cobb: a challenge to serve
A top passing play of the Green Bay Packers' 2013 season involved Wide Receiver Randall Cobb (left). The Packers trailed the Bears with just 38 seconds left to play when Aaron Rodgers found Cobb open for the 48-yard toss that gave the Packers a 33-28 victory and the NFC North title. The play went down as a "Never Say Never Moment of the Year." But what few know is how Cobb has leveraged his status as a Green Bay Packer for the good of the community. Cobb shares his stories about the game, and service excellence, to offer inspiration. Then he'll challenge you to roll up your sleeves as part of a service project. MORE SPEAKERS

Salim Ismail: a look today at tomorrow's technology
Past convention favorite and technology guru Salim Ismail (left) of Singularity University will share how future technologies will impact credit union services. He'll provide the big picture during a Friday morning general session and delve into detail during a breakout session. Other tech sessions touch on using big data for revenue, smartphonatics and more! MORE BREAKOUTS

Andy Janning will challenge you to higher peformance

No Net Solutions' Andy Janning (left) will energize Convention with a frank talk about leading a team of excellence. His lessons draw from his perspectives as a former credit union executive, leader of a Nobel Peace Prize-nominated leadership development program and an avid moviegoer who can explain every situation with a parallel from the silver screen.
