Contributions to the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation provide
the brass|STUDENT PROGRAM– a financial literacy initiative – free to any
Wisconsin public high school that requests it. Currently, 450 teachers
at 350 high schools are using the program to help teens achieve state teaching standards for personal financial
literacy. Foundation contributions also fund grants and
scholarshipsfor credit union
development and helps the credit union system in times of need, most
recently following Hurricane Sandy.
Funds designated for Credit Union House help maintain a strong
lobbying presence across from the Capitol, where Activists represent the
voices of Wisconsin’s 2.3 million credit union members. Generous
support for Credit Union House enables The League to direct more of
credit unions’ annual dues toward advocacy, education, compliance
and other services that benefit credit unions and their
