Chain of Hearts fundraiser coming soon!

Links kits for the February Chain of Hearts fundraiser supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are being shipped in December to credit unions that donated to the charity this year while other credit unions will receive an invitation to participate and order form for supplies.

The paper links for which the campaign is named are sold to members at credit unions' lobby counters and drive-ups and bear the names of members’ loved ones. The kits also include paper heart icons, a Chain of Hearts guide, information about your local hospital and patient stories.

Please call your local hospital representative if you don’t get your kit by the end of December, or if you'd like to sign up. And don't forget to follow your local hospital on social media as the campaign unfolds.

The Chain of Hearts has typically accounted for the bulk of the funds that Wisconsin credit unions raise annually for the charity as part of the nationwide Credit Unions for Kids® program. Wisconsin credit unions raised $288,229 in 2011 to help local children served by the hospitals.

One hundred percent of every dollar donated by members of the credit union movement goes back to the CMN Hospital which serves your community, your members.

Credit Unions for Kids® is Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ third largest U.S. sponsor (eclipsed only by Walmart and Costco). Credit Unions nationwide raised more than $8.7 million in 2011, and over $100 million since 1996.
