Offer input now to shape the final rule on remittance transfers that will be issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Plan to participate in a conference call Jan. 14 hosted by CUNA with all the details.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has issued a new proposal regarding certain aspects of its remittance transfer final rule:

what happens when a consumer sender provides an incorrect account number;
flexibility regarding disclosures of foreign taxes; and
limits on disclosures of foreign regional and local taxes.
