Want to go to CUNA Management School? Apply for a scholarship!

CUNA Management School, the credit union movement's longest-running high-level education program, convenes in Madison each July. It's your chance to invest in your career! And now, if you apply by April 30, you can do so with up to $2,000 of financial aid from the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation.

The program, which builds dynamic leaders with a rigorous blend of university classes and experiential learning activities, has prepared close to 5,000 students for executive-level responsibilities. College-level credits are available.

Jeremy Yardley, President & CEO of Southshore Credit Union and the 2013 recipient of the Foundation scholarship, said the training imparted skills that helped him early on in the job, and continue to do so today.

"The classes were long and challenging, but what a great way to build on the passion regarding the credit union movement and why we do what we do," he said. "I am truly grateful for the chance to have done something I would never have done otherwise and I would have missed out on a great thing."

The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation Scholarship, worth up to $2,000, can be used toward Year 1, Year 2 or Year 3 of the training. The scholarship reimburses the recipient's credit union after the recipient completes the training.

Scholarships are available to staff, members and volunteers of Wisconsin League-affiliated credit unions with a preference to those with $50 million or below in assets.  Applicants must also be actively involved in credit union activities, such as chapter meetings, committee work, credit union Activism, etc.

Apply by April 30. Recipients will be notified by May 15. For more information, contact Mary Bliss at (262) 408-6002.
