Government Affairs

The Wisconsin Credit Union League represents the interests of over 2.2 million credit union member-owners throughout Wisconsin.


The League's Government Affairs Department follows all introduced and potential legislation and actively lobbies the state legislature on issues that impact credit unions and their members. The GA staff also are in regular communication with members of regulatory bodies and state agencies in order to remain informed of any changes to current law or rules that may occur.


In addition to their lobbying activities, the Government Affairs department:

  •  Spearhead a statewide public relations and grassroots advocacy campaign called  "1 with The League"
