Money Smart Week is a week-long, joint effort by
organizations across the state to hold events, workshops and
presentations that offer financial education. Events are held for
all age groups and focus on helping people learn to better
manage their personal finances.
This is a great opportunity to aid credit
union growth by reaching out to financially underserved and unbanked
groups - such as young adults and families in their prime
borrowing years. It's a great way to continue your involvement in
Wisconsin credit unions' statewide REAL Solutions initiative!
Money Smart Week is coordinated statewide by the
Governor's Council on Financial Literacy, the Federal Reserve Bank of
Chicago, the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and local
partner organizations, including The League and participating credit
unions.
