A disabled man in his 60s became somewhat isolated by hoarding and rarely saw his 14 grandkids. As part of Rebuilding Together Fox Valley, our staff sorted, emptied, lifted, cleaned, organized, and painted. We coordinated donations to update appliances, remodel a bathroom, and make a safe kids room. Our gentle coaxing even helped him help others, he's donating 500+ t-shirts to needy kids and 100 rods and reels to a local program that takes disabled children fishing.
