Col. Jill Morgenthaler (Ret.) | Author & Professional Speaker, Jill Morgenthaler, Inc.

Retired Colonel Jill Morgenthaler was in the experimental class where the Army tested to see if women could lead men. She was a 22-year-old commander along the border of North and South Korea. She was the first woman battalion commander in the 88th Regional Support Command; and she was the first woman brigade commander in the 84th Division. In Iraq, she faced off with Saddam Hussein. In Illinois, Jill was the first woman to lead homeland security.

Today, Jill is the author of the book Courage to Command: Leadership Lessons from a Military Trailblazer and a prominent speaker to a wide variety of audiences.

Kim Sponem | CEO, Summit Credit Union 

Kim Sponem is CEO/President of one of Wisconsin’s largest credit unions, Summit Credit Union. Under her leadership since 2002, then CUNA Credit Union, it has grown from $200 million to $2.8 billion in assets and from three to 34 branches, including three in Madison High Schools. Sponem leads her award winning credit union with a passion for helping women own their financial wellness and create stronger communities. She serves on multiple boards of directors, has won awards for innovation, ethical leadership, cooperative support, community building and more. She has served within the credit union movement for 26 years and is a founding member and Co-Leader of the Wisconsin Sister Society for the Global Women’s Leadership Network.

Stacie VanDenBergh | CEO, CU Innovate

Stacie works with credit unions across the country to help develop, enhance, motivate and maximize credit union growth. She is also a frequent speaker  at CUNA and league conferences. Prior to that she was the Consulting Director for the Michigan Credit Union League. She’s also a 15-year veteran credit union employee, enabling her to identify with her clients. Stacie holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Michigan State University.
