Global Women's Leadership Network

GWLN aims to provide women with the opportunity and resources to make a measurable difference--in the lives of each other, in the lives of credit union members, and in their communities.

GWLN is one of the original diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives established in 2009 by the World Council of Credit Unions. With over 4,900 individuals engaged from 87 countries, GWLN is bursting with diverse groups of women from all walks of life, expertise, and professional standing. Become a member and get involved locally by joining the Wisconsin Sister Society.

Small organizations are crucial to the future of The Credit Union Movement. Become a member of this safe space for women CEOs of credit unions with asset sizes of $300 million or less.

The League

Women's Leadership Summit & Virtual Series

Each year, The League celebrates Women’s History Month with our Women’s Leadership Summit. Usually held the second week of March, this full day conference highlights speakers and topics of specific interest to women leaders across all roles and experience levels in The Credit Union Movement.

Additionally, to reach more members and increase opportunity, The League has created the Women’s Virtual Series. This 3-session remote learning opportunity provides online speaker presentations and collaboration in the month of October. Past agendas have included talks on purposeful work, managing stress, and how to negotiate to get what you really want. Experience these dynamic speakers and be a part of the engaging conversation.
