On April 1, Governor Tony Evers proclaimed the month of April as National Credit Union Youth Month, recognizing how Wisconsin's credit unions support the financial literacy and well-being of young people across the state.
Highlighted in the proclamation are how Wisconsin's credit unions operate 100 student-run, in-school branches, provide financial literacy and wellness programs such as certified financial counseling, reality fairs, and apps to simulate adult financial scenarios, and much more.
