The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation honored two of its directors who are completing their tenure on the Foundation's Board of Directors and added two new directors.
Foundation supporters who attended an annual donor reception on Friday of Convention thanked and honored two individuals whose leadership was instrumental in establishing the 501(c)3 non-profit that is accomplishing tremendous good in our state.
Departing directors were honored
Both completed nine, one-year terms.
"Carol and Deb were both on the board since the Foundation’s inception. They have shown great leadership and commitment to our mission, and have a played a key role in our fundraising efforts," said Foundation spokesperson Mary Bliss.
"Their vision and dedication helped establish the Foundation as a mechanism that fuels the continual professional growth and outreach of credit unions for the betterment of Wisconsin communities," she added.
Two new directors were introduced
They were appointed by The League Board at its May meeting at Convention. The League Board appoints four individuals to the Foundation Board annually. Re-appointed to the Foundation Board were Cathie Tierney of Community First Credit Union, and Kevin Hauser of Westby Co-op Credit Union.
The event also helped thank past and present Foundation supporters and gratefully received a major donation from Corporate Central Credit Union.
Wisconsin credit unions come together as a single League to Unite for Good; we remove barriers, increase awareness and foster service excellence.
