"Ive been a member of Altra (Trane) Federal Credit Union since 1973. It's been the only banking system I've had since then. I've purchased every vehicle, at least eight, from Altra over the years. I only have one credit card and that's from Altra as well. They have been my "Go To" financial institution. I especially remember when I purchased one of my first vehicles, and the dealership was attempting to obtain financing. Their credit department began questioning my credit worthiness, and, after some heated dialogue, I demanded to use the telephone to call Altra and speak to their credit department instead. Altra arranged for the loan over the phone, spoke with the dealer, and I drove home in my new van. I felt like the most important person alive after the treatment I received from Altra, and it's been that way every time I've dealt with them. I will never consider anyone else. Why? I'm already a part of the best."
