An elderly member was unable to qualify for loan refinancing elsewhere due to recent late payments on a car loan at another financial. But, when our member-focused team learned from the member and her Power of Attorney that her recent Alzheimer’s diagnosis had caused her to forget, we were able approve her loan refinance and help her get back on track. As a result, she and her caregivers now have a more simplified way of paying her bills on time and her credit score has improved.
