Delivery Service for an Elderly Member

We have an elderly member who has physical mobility limitations, does not drive, and lives a mile from our credit union. She does not have dependable transportation to come and withdraw cash, so our tellers developed a system where the member will call and let them know much money she would like to withdraw, and a teller then drives to the member’s house to give her the money and obtain her signature. Suckers are always included, and—on her birthday—they sent along two candy bars as a birthday treat. The member is very appreciative, and we are happy to accommodate her need.
