We had a member that was recently divorced and wanted to purchase a home for her and her daughters. She initially felt there would be no way she would qualify but wanted to try anyway. We were not only able to do the mortgage loan for her, but we were also able to get her the Down Payment Plus grant. This grant helps members with their down payment and closing costs. The member had to put $1K of her own money down and was able to get a $6K grant. The member and her children were able to move into their home and start making family memories to share for years to come!
