While many financial institutions say that they want more people to have a better understanding of personal finance, credit unions go the extra mile and actively find ways to educate our communities. FCCU has been teaching in classrooms in our service area for over a decade, from elementary through high school. We’ve formed long-standing partnerships with many teachers, sending our team members to help supplement their classes with our expertise in financial literacy. Whenever we get a request to come into the classroom, our team jumps at the opportunity to help. This is just one part of our ongoing efforts to promote financial literacy, but it's a part that is particularly important to us.
