In the Consumer Loan Officer role, you will be looking for opportunities to help our members achieve their financial goals, whether it’s buying their first car, the camper where family memories will be made, or coaching them on how to improve their credit score. Our Consumer Loan Officer position is a financial sales position, and in this role, you will provide information on financial products and services to current and prospective members. This position has an hourly base-rate and includes a generous incentive program.

Responsibilities | Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to our members from the loan application to approval process.
• Get to know our members’ financial situations to suggest the best product or service that will meet their needs.
• Determine collateral needs and payment plans for members completing the application process.
• Submit loan requests to Underwriter for approval. Inform and educate prospective borrowers of loan commitments.
• The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about helping others. We take time to understand our members and their story, to find solutions that will help them achieve their financial success.

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport, credibility, and trust.
• Competitive drive with determination to succeed and achieve sales goals.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience working in a call center service/sale environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and excellent listening skills.
