Description

Protect credit unions: make it personal

Activists - both new and seasoned - can help achieve important legislative and regulatory wins for credit unions. Share stories about how your credit union serves members and communities or how unnecessary and costly overregulation restricts your ability to serve members.

We brief you on key issues, you show them the impact at home - to the districts and constituents of your elected officials.

Share your stories with:

  • Members of Congress
  • Hill staffers who facilitate decision-making on legislation/policy
  • Federal regulators and their staff

Communication is impersonal, passive and distant in the internet age. There's no substitute for in-person dialog to forge critical relationships with federal policymakers. Be there to speak for your credit union, your members and community!

Wisconsin needs a strong showing!

Lawmakers from Wisconsin:

Wisconsin lawmakers are relevant to every U.S. credit union, so credit unions nationwide are counting on us to gain these legislators' support.

We are looking for participation by credit unions with branches in the 8th (Green Bay area) and 1st or 4th Districts (Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin).
