Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Cancellations and refund requests made eight or more days prior to the conference date must be in writing to registration@theleague.coop and are subject to a $35 service charge. No refunds will be granted if a cancellation is received seven days or less before the conference date. Substitutions are accepted any time before the conference begins, but The League must be notified.

Speakers

Chris Hytinen, Business Development Executive | Emergifi

Chris comes from a credit union family, and his father and step-mother were both former credit union executives. Chris initially started his career with CUNA Mutual Group and then, its subsidiaries. His work was in providing insurance and complex financial solutions to credit unions. More recently, Chris served as a Business Development Executive and minority owner of an equipment maintenance management services company serving nearly 200 community banks and credit unions in 30 states. Chris has a keen understanding of both credit union operations and the technology challenges faced by executives today.

Tara Krejcarek, VP Strategic Partnerships | The League

Tara re-joined The League in September 2015. In her current role she helps credit unions evolve and grow by facilitating their use of preferred business partners that can save them time, money and needless risk. Tara is also the primary contact for Wisconsin credit unions' prize-linked savings program, Saver's Sweepstakes. o Tara comes from the Illinois Credit Union League, for which she assisted credit unions with business and operational needs in several states. Prior to that she served as The League’s Product and Service Manager from March 2007 to March 2012.

Jennifer Laud, Marketing Consultant | Jennifer Laud Consulting

Jennifer is a marketing leader with a background in strategy and human-centered design. She has a passion for positioning credit unions to find their unique voice in the marketplace, engage with their current members and connect with targeted new members through customized experiences. 

Ryan McMillan, Director of Technology Solutions, Senior Systems Engineer | Corporate Central Credit Union, Emergifi CUSO

Ryan has dual roles as Senior Systems Engineer and Director of Technology Solutions at Emergifi. He is a seasoned technology industry leader with deep technical knowledge of designing, managing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures including cloud-based servers and applications. He leverages previous experience as a Network Administrator, an Associate Network Engineer, a Network Engineer, and a Manager of Information Technology in multiple industries — including academia, healthcare, and SMB — to drive positive outcomes while lowering costs and increasing customer defined success.

Josh Roberts, VP System Collaboration & Development | The League

Josh is responsible for promoting credit union service and outreach, fostering opportunities for growth and leading The League’s development program for Wisconsin's young credit union professionals, the YP Network. Josh also consults with credit unions statewide on budgets, accounting issues, strategic and board planning and any number of operational issues affecting their outreach and success.

Brett Thompson, President & CEO | The League

Brett joined The Wisconsin Credit Union League in 2001. He currently serves as Board Chair of the Credit Union House in DC, and serves on the boards of the National Credit Union Foundation, the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation, Wisconsin Credit Union Shared Service Centers and Reach Business Lenders® Inc.
